Fast Pitch Softball Umpire TrainingHave you thought about becoming a softball umpire but not sure how to obtain a certification? The Amateur Softball Association will be bringing tournaments to Big League Dreams in Redding and would like to train some local talent. Once you have your certification ASA can provide you the opportunity to travel the country if you wish. Pre-register now! Minimum age for any position is 16. Applicants younger than 18 years of age must submit a work permit application.

New Instructors and Class Proposals Packet
Redding Recreation is interested in expanding and developing new recreation and leisure classes for youth (0-17 years) and adults in our community. Below you will find a link to a Leisure Class Proposal packet to assist you in describing the class that you feel best qualified to instruct. Also included is an instructor General Information form. When completed, submit this class information to the Recreation Division or call 225-4095 to discuss your idea.
