For more information on any of our summer specials, please call Redding Recreation at 225-4095 prior to Memorial Day and then the Redding Aquatic Center at 245-7247. Regular admission fees apply unless otherwise noted.
Open everyday June 8th -August 13. Open weekends only until close date of Sept 7th.

Celebrate a Safe Summer
Welcome in the sun and the swimming season as you learn how to be safe in, on and around water. Check out our kayaking opportunities and swim lesson placement. Hope to see you there!

- Drawings - free water lessons for kayaking/swimming lessons

Time: 4:30-6:00 pm (Swim lesson placement & swim lesson registration)
5:00-8:00 pm (Free Swim)
Fee: Event is FREE due to sponsorship from California Department of Boating and Waterways, The California Kids Plates Fund and the Shasta Drowning Prevention Coalition.

Opening day 2010
The Redding Aquatic Center is officially open for the Spring/Summer!! Register early for swim classes, kayak classes, Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP), diving and so many more. Remember that swimming is also one of the best all-around fitness routines for your body so now may be a good time to get a Water Fitness Pass. Get in a couple of laps while your children are taking lessons or perhaps you enjoy an early morning routine.

Youth sport night
Celebrate the end of the season as a team at the Redding Aquatic Center. Package includes: Admission to Redding Aquatic Center, reserved team table space, & a meal deal (Hot dog or corn dog, chips or fruit & a small fountain beverage or water). Reserve your shaded space by June 4, 2010-- Space is limited!
Time: 4:30-7:00 pm
Fee: $6 per person
Itty Bitty Luau
Children 5 & younger (with an adult) are invited to play in the water, the play structure and participate in fun games. All children receive a party favor. Admission includes The Party & Preschool Splash (until 11:30 am).
Time: 9:30-10:30 am (party)
Fee: $1.00 for children (2-5 years).
Regular admission applies to adults
Youth sport night

National Night Out
Participate in this national event, against crime, at the Redding Aquatic Center. Join us for swimming, a refreshing snack (included), games and activities, and a chance to win prizes.
